Carpet Recycling UK's 2017 Annual Conference and Awards kicks off at Aston Villa Football Club in Birmingham on June 21st taking the theme of 'developing towards a circular economy' for carpet.
Guest host Andrew Bird, Chair of LARAC (Local Authority Recycling Advisory Committee) will provide a valuable local authority perspective in his keynote address. The day's packed programme will focus on key developments and initiatives, including waste prevention, product design, take-back schemes and good practice in encouraging greater re-use and recycling of carpet.

CRUK Director Laurance Bird comments: "Local authorities have a key role to play in diverting carpet waste from landfill and we welcome the opportunity to hear their views especially in relation to the challenges they face with regard to recycling carpets."
